An Inclusive Festival

For our ninth anniversary year, Gaytimes - Australia’s queer music and arts festival - returns March 21-23 2025.

Over two nights and three full days, Gaytimes will feature an epic lineup of Aussie music across multiple stages.

Gaytimes will also feature performers, visual arts, yoga, talks, workshops, fun and games, camping, glamping, cocktail bars, speciality coffee, food trucks and much more. Best of all, Gaytimes is BYO.

For 2025, Gaytimes is returning to Gilwell Park in Gembrook at the foothills of the Dandenongs and State Forest east of Melbourne — just 1 hour 15 minutes drive from Melbourne’s CBD. Gaytimes will again be held in serene, flat campgrounds with permanent showers and toilets amongst native forest.

Gaytimes will offer a weekend of music, art, community, sexuality and self-expression for the LGBTIQ+ community.

With an eclectic lineup of music, performers, visual arts, food trucks, yoga and more, Gaytimes is a festival experience unlike any other.Whether you opt for glamping in the forest or prefer camping under the stars, Gaytimes is a bush festival with a touch of class.

Our Mission

Gaytimes is a boutique music, arts and camping festival for the whole lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and gender diverse community.

We are an inclusive festival that welcomes all the colours of the rainbow, and their friends.

We pride ourselves on curating an eclectic and diverse lineup that represents people from a broad range of identities, backgrounds and music styles.

As a social enterprise, Gaytimes hopes to provide a platform for emerging queer and gender diverse artists to be seen and heard.

Gaytimes isn't just about music, either. It is a weekend getaway of performance art, visual art, light projections, community, self-expression, sexuality, yoga and more.

We aim to create a space for LGTBIQ people to come together and be themselves.

We partner with LGBTIQ+ organisations to offer workshops, live broadcasts, giveaways and stalls.

Each year, we take lengths to ensure the experience is enjoyable for everyone by consulting with our diverse and knowledgable community and implement ways to make things better and more accessible for all.
